Turgoose & Turgoose Osteopaths are a husband and wife team.

Simon Turgoose DO, MSc(Paed Ost), FSCCO and Tara Turgoose BSc(Ost). MSCCO

qualified from the British School of Osteopathy  (now re-named the University College of Osteopathy) in 1990 and 1992 respectively... they have over 60 years of clinical experience between them!

They have been providing Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy in the Bromley and Chislehurst area for over 20 years.

Simon and Tara do use somewhat different styles with their treatments.

Simon Turgoose has extensive specialist training as a Cranial Osteopath and the Osteopathic treatment of babies and children, he gained a Masters Degree in Paediatric Osteopathy from the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy and the University of Bedfordshire in 2008 and has completed the Sutherland Cranial College postgraduate Pathway training involving over 250 hours of supervised training and written work, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Sutherland Cranial College in 2012.

Simon's treatment approach at the Bromley and Chislehurst practice is primarily influenced by Cranial Osteopathy and so tends to be very gentle with minimal use of direct joint manipulation ('clicking').

Tara Turgoose prefers to combine Cranial Osteopathy and more traditional Structural Osteopathy, so she treats using more joint manipulation and massage. After graduating spent three years working at the Osteopathic Center for Children in London, gaining experience in treating babies, children and pregnant women. She has also worked in private practice and providing Osteopathy for the NHS.

More recently Tara has become a qualified Reflexologist and also offers Reflexology sessions at the Bromley practice.
